The line between science and science fiction has always been hard to define. Lately however, that boundary is shifting quickly or, arguably, disappearing altogether. What used to be science fiction just a few years ago is now either science fact or science in its early stages of development. Isaac Asimov, the visionary who coined the term “robotics”, fathered The 3 Laws of Robotics and was one of the most prolific writers ever, has had a life-long fascination with this boundary. It is to explore that accelerating line that the classic Visions of the Future series aims to do. So even though it may be 20 years old I find it is still very much worth watching.
